Since this week we (here in the US) will celebrate Thanksgiving, a holiday of sharing, I thought it appropriate to make this week's Confessional Pic artwork that was shared recently with the Temple. More of this anonymous fan's Nick artwork can be seen on Discord & Rhyme. GreyOktoberMoon from the DD.com message board had the opportunity to speak with Nick at this weekend's concert in Atlanta. She reports that Nick would like to release a 20th anniversary DVD of Arcadia complete with a missing track that never made it on the original album. Read her report here. So much happening
in one week... let's try to catch up! The Duran Duran Italian Convention will be held 7 December in Pescara, Italy at the Temple Bar Irish Pub. The program will contain: videos of all the Duran's career; exhibitions of records and photos; collector's stands; various gadgets; a concert by the "RIO TRIBUTE BAND" with special guest "BARBARELLAS TRIBUTE BAND"; and 80's tunes will spin after the concerts by EML d.j. The Italian fanzines will be also present for the event. (Thanks, Marco & Piero) The latest issue of the Friends of Mine Duranzine was released earlier in the week. Email fom@fanzine.freeserve.co.uk for prices and information. (Thanks, Linda & Rupert!) Some video clips from the gig in Atlantic City can be downloaded from Duran Duran Italy. (Thanks, Giorgio!) A Nick interview in the Chicago Tribune from last Sunday is here. Registration is free. The print edition featured it in a large color format. the retirement of minDDilation. We're sorry to see it
go! Thanks, Steve, for all of your hard work! The Confessional has added a new gallery - gallery IX. Confess your sins! For those with saintnick.zzn.com e-mail accounts, ZZN is changing their service and while they will still technically offer free accounts, they will only be free for 30 days when you sign up for one of their paid e-mail services. I believe the current accounts will expire on or around 3 December. The Temple will search around for another free e-mail service to offer to you - however, you may want to make alternate plans in the meantime. Next week the Temple will be on holiday - the next pic of the week will be posted the week of the 17th. Tour pics may also make an appearance that same week - but in the interim you may also want to visit the LK and DD.com messageboards for the latest pics. (You will probably see the pics that we share with Duran Duran Chile and Simonjohnnicketlesautres on their sites after the 17th as well.)
