Duran on a tarot card?

THE CARD: That big snake painted up the side of your body is smearing in the tropical heat. It’s too damn sticky to be wearing a felt fedora. Someone has been smoking your little Egyptian cigarettes without asking. And you’ve got conjunctivitis, probably from sharing eyeliner. My, my, my, the little day-to-day troubles of being Duran Duran.

MEANING: The Five of Wands is an annoying card, but it is by no means the end of the world. It represents all the little hassles we run into everyday; long lines, bickering, bad attitudes. It may mean that you have a day ahead of you filled with such trivial disagreeing things, or it may also mean that you should be aware of your own attitudes out there in the world: is it you who is looking to pick a fight?

Other tarot cards include Dale Bozzio, Limahl, Bryan Ferry, Spandau Ballet, Paula Yates, and Michael Hutchence.

One degree of separation: Stephen Duffy has been collaborating with Robbie Williams - you can listen to the first single Radio from Robbie's newest album "Greatest Hits" here. (Thanks, Rita!)

It has come to the Temple's attention that another site has been hotlinking the recently added video and audio files without permission. This will push our bandwidth to the limit and make it difficult for genuine visitors to the Temple to hear and see the files. As a result, they have been moved and access restricted until a solution has been found. Website owners, if you wish to link directly to files on the Temple, please contact the Priestess for permission. Otherwise, use the link http://www.templeofsaintnick.com. Thank you.

From MTV: Duran Duran hope to tell their story in an upcoming tome called "Please, Please Tell Me Now." According to their book proposal, they would chronicle the group's adventures, such as "Nick Rhodes' little-disclosed relationship with Andy Warhol and his bloody bedroom games with Elizabeth Hurley through Simon LeBon's torrid affair and courtship of the model Yasmine to Andy Taylor's journey into the fleshpots of Ibiza." The book would be written in collaboration with rock journalist Stephen Davis. *update from Katy: IT IS EARLY DAYS YETS AND MTV.COM PICKED UP ON THE STORY A BIT TOO SOON. THE BAND ARE TALKING TO NY TIMES BEST SELLING AUITHOR STEPHEN DAVIS (Hammer of the Gods, Walk this Way, new Jim Morrison book - Life, Death, Legend) ABOUT A BIOGRAPHY AND A NUMBER OF PUBLISHERS ARE INTERESTED. HOWEVER, THE BOOK WOULDN'T COME OUT FOR AT LEAST A COUPLE OF YEARS.
