Our condolences to the family and friends of Wes Wehmiller on his sudden passing. We fondly recall his much downloaded "Nick's Stolen Moments" and the time spent with Duran Duran on tour. He touched many lives by his talent, his humor, and his "approachability" to his and Duran Duran's fans. He will be missed, but his contribution to music will live on in perpetuity.

Nick fondly remembers Wes - read his tribute on Duran Duran's news page.

Warren's Privacy website has made available several downloads in tribute to Wes. Among the downloads are the aforementioned "Nick's Stolen Moments" (this page). Cucfan has listed the links and items that you can currently download - audio files, interview clips, videos, etc.

From MX (Melbourne, Australia), 21 January:

Duran Duran's Nick Rhodes has revealed a young survivor of the September 11, 2001, terror attacks influenced one of the songs on the band's new album.

He said the title for What Happens Tomorrow was taken from a newsreel of a boy being asked what he thought about the situation.

"The boy simply said 'No one knows what will happen tomorrow' and I thought that was so poignant and it just stuck with me," Rhodes said.

A new interview is posted in the Article Archive.

ROBBIE WILLIAMS may have lacked the drive to crack America, according to NICK RHODES. The DURAN DURAN keyboard player said: "I like Robbie very much, I don't know why he hasn't broken America yet. Maybe he hasn't put in enough work over there."
