I encountered Nick in Portland, Oregon .... I know that it wasn't on their tour schedule but Duran Duran came to Z100's Last Chance Summer Dance in Portland Oregon and played a set. The concert was outdoors at a park. I had to wait all day to see them because there was more than one act and they were scheduled to play last. But, the time finnally came and I got to see the band. I was about 7:55 when they came out. (An hour late, because of technical difficuties).  The crowd had starter to chant Duran Duran! and Simon! Simon! Unfortunately, I was the only one I heard chanting Nick ! Nick! But, finally they came out and I saw him! My location in the crowed was up front, right in front of Nick. I didn't get a pic but he was wearing a pink and red blouse (The same one in the encounters room.) Simon came out and looked nice, but most people were screaming for Warren, who was wearing a pair of tight black leather pants and a black vest, which he later took off! For a die hard Nick fan, I was quite taken by him. But back to Nick, I could tell he had eyeliner and... well he moved like and cat. He was soo graceful to look at. When they did Hungry Like The Wolf and he started to use his motion ditector, his fingers looked soo erotic when they moved, even ever so slightly. Also, when Warren came over to him on the stage whilst playing, they started whispering to eachother , and he, The Saint, smiled!! and giggled. Gods, this concert was such a rush, everyone was soo hot and the music was incredible!! The only draw back to the concert was that I was to short to get good pictures and halfway through they had to stop for a bit because they lost their guitar for a bit. People got really riled up (inculding me) and thought they were going to quit. They had only played about 3 songs. Well thats about all! And again I have to say that Nick was truly the best!!
