On the 14th of October
2003, at The Forum, Kentish Town, my dream came
true!
I remember being dragged through the crowd, despite
being only behind about 4 people, taken to the entrance
of The Forum, where Wendy Laister was standing.
I was suddenly whizzed backstage 5 minutes before
Duran Duran where due on stage, whilst somebody
went to get Nick. Whilst waiting for Nick to appear
I met John and Simon and they both signed my T-Shirt.
Suddenly I saw Nick walking towards me, I was thinking
I can`t believe this, am I dreaming? I was crying
with shock, amazement and intense joy. After that
I just hugged Nick, he was indeed very cuddly, especially
in that velvet jacket! I said to him how lovely
his make-up looked and how nice his sparkly velvet
jacket was. He said to me you must be Hannah. He
also later on said to me that he was unsure about
the tie he was wearing. His voice was very incredibly
sexy and he signed my T-Shirt. I wanted to say more,
well if I ever did meet Nick I always said I would
perhaps ask him a question or I was worried how
I would react. I now know that sometimes things
never work out the way they are planned but are
often better!
