I interviewed Nick and Warren in April, when the guys came to NYC to do press for Pop Trash. I had scored assignments for the Duran Duran interview with several websites and publications, and since their publicist is a friend of mine, I was able to get a solid hour with Nick, and close to half an hour with Warren. It was lots of fun. Having been a fan since Planet Earth, I had done a phoner (phone interview) with Simon in 1997, for Medazzaland, but Nick was always my favorite (Poster on the wall and everything) so it was really exciting for me to be able to meet him and spend some time picking his brain.

Nick was very polite and really really well spoken. I came in at the end of a long day of doing press and while he was obviously tired, he warmed up to me after about 20 minutes. I felt pretty comfortable being alone with him as opposed to being nervous, because you never know what it is going to be like to meet someone you  have been a fan of for so long. After the interview, before Warren came in, Nick signed my Planet Earth 12" and posed for these photos with me. (Simon also signed the record and posed for a picture, and all three of them signed a glossy for me; ah, trophies!). I made Nick do the little Devil Horn sign just to be different.
