If you currently use AOL's Instant Messenger program, you can now quickly and easily add the latest Nickolite AIM names to your Buddy List. Just follow the instructions detailed below and within seconds you can begin IM'ing with Nick fans across the world!

NICKOLITE BUDDY LIST INSTRUCTIONS

Download the Nickolite Buddy List file.

To save the Buddy List file to your hard drive, right-click on the link:

IE users select: "Save Target As"
Netscape users select: "Save Link As"

Log-in to the AIM program.
Select "File" from the toolbar.
Select "Load Buddy List" from the drop-down menu.
Select the saved file location of the downloaded "nickolite.blt" on your hard drive.
Enable "Merge with Existing Buddy List" and click "OK".

FAQ

I don't have AIM, where can I download it?

You can download it from AOL's site or if you have the full-version of Netscape Navigator, click on the Personal Toolbar and select Instant Message.

How do I take certain Nickolites off of my Buddy List once I've imported the file?

Click on the List Setup tab and hilight the screenname of the person you wish to delete. Once hilighted, you can delete that name by clicking on the Delete Item icon located in the bottom right-hand corner.

I'm not sure if I want everyone to know that I'm on-line. Are there any "invisible" options?

To change your security options, choose File from the menu bar and then select My Options. From the drop down menu, select Edit Preferences. Select the Control tab and then check off which security options you want enabled.

Is this different than ICQ?
