Center, top: The lack
of natural light in the music room is compensated
by atmospheric, almost theatrical lighting: two
lights of Edgar Brandt, a famous metal worker from
the 1920s. The piano is an art deco model from
1930.

Center, middle: A
unique collection of streamlined furniture is in
the music room, which is situated in the basement
of the house. The grey with pink leather seats were
bought by Rhodes because he loves this Hollywood
style for it's "wonderful kitsch
appearance".

Bottom, left: The
area around the swimming pool appears larger than
it is because of the mirrored wall. Blinds have
been placed in front of the glass in the ceiling so
that the amount of light can be controlled. The
pool is a whirlpool, sunk in a natural stone floor.
The wainscot/paneling against the walls is in a
geometrical deco style. In the door the thematic
circle form can be found
again.
