DURAN Duran star Nick Rhodes has been named as one of the 10 most elegant men in the world at a ceremony at the Palais de Chaillot in Paris.

The blond keyboard player, 27, is famous for his zany costumes.

"Nick is thrilled because he recognises that this is a very prestigious award," a spokesman for the rock star said.

Rhodes' wife, model Julie Anne, accompanied her husband to the star-studded event.
