IT girl Tara Palmer Tomkinson has been secretly dating an Irish
singer behind the back of her pop star boyfriend Nick Rhodes, the
Irish Mirror can reveal.
Handsome bachelor Richard Boyle met the sexy socialite after winning
a Sunday paper blind date competition in December.
But he was surprised when the English rose arranged a second, more
intimate, meeting just a few weeks later in Dublin.
Since then the pair have been in regular contact.
Richard, 32, said: "Tara's dynamite. She's a stunner and we hit
it off very well. The first date wasn't exactly conducive to romance.
"
Just as we would be getting that bit intimate, the photographer
would hop in.
"But the second night together was much better.
"We're close friends and we got on very well. I thought she might
be a bit toffee-nosed but she's really down to earth and game for
a laugh."
Now Richard believes 28-year-old Tara's affair with the ex-Duran
Duran star is a "publicity stunt".
He said he's going to wait in the wings just in case she decides
to dump the keyboard player.
The Dubliner, who appeared in Riverdance and sang with Anuna, has
formed his own rock band, The Ex-Boyfriends, so he's not worried
by Rhodes' fame.
And he claimed he's due to meet Tara in London within the next two
weeks.
