Canadian Visitors Honored at Picnic

Mr. and Mrs. William Glaspey and sons, Frederick and Allan, and daughter, Ruth, of Saskatchewan, Can., who have been visiting friends near Iowa City, were complimented Sunday at a picnic dinner along the Iowa river, near the Francis Glaspey home. Dinner was served at noon, and the afternoon was passed informally.

Those present were the honor guests, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Glaspey of Independence, Mrs. Joe Albrets, daughters, Dorothy and Alice, and son, Walter, Mr. Leo Watson, Miss Beulah Musser, Mr. Adolph Alberts of Lone Tree, Miss Emma Glaspey, Mrs. M. Temple, Mr. and Mrs. A.H. Glaspey and daughter, Esther, of Iowa City, the Misses Wanda, Betty, and Arliene Lucky of Riverside, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Glaspey, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Glaspey, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Glaspey, Miss Betty and Miss Leta Mae Glaspey, the Misses Myrl, Meda and Cathyrine Mildred Glaspey and the Messrs. Harold, Earl, Bob and Karl Glaspey, all of Hills.
